For the 20g sveroboy
I thinkni used one size larger for the 12g.
As far as the alloy these are behaving like i cast them with wheel weight with 2% tin
If i remember correctly the last one i weighed was 585 grains with the wad attached which i think is like 1.33 ounces. Its definitely over 1 oz
With slugs i mostly just use plain lead. However i have used wheel weight with 2% tin.
Could you please send me a recipe i love the 525 and its easier to cast than the sveroboy.
Additionally, the savage 220 and 212 in my testing love full bore slugs. And they tear up and destabilize any slug in wad designs.

Yeah i have a savage 220 as well. I was unable to get these to the same level of accuracy before hunting season.
Here is zeroing at 15 yards after boresight.

They are pretty accurate as well. This is zeroing at 50m. Was zeroing for 2.5 inches high so the projectile drop at 100 would be right on.
After shooting 24/25 in one round of testing...
Is it against the rules to post exit wound photos?
We have put down 3 apiece these last two weekends. And at no time spent more than a couple minutes finding them. Also hunting on ft campbell is next level amazing right now
Recently i had a chance to test the svarog sveroboy 12g slug versus 3 deer.
I have to say it will kill. It is very effective.
3 deer shot they all took 1 or two steps and died in place. One...

The press you have should be fine for the job. o style presses are quite strong.

Thanks for the info on factory rounds. Haven't tried any. I love hornady in my 6.5 and 308 so I figured they would be good for shotgun too, but I will try for the others first now. More than...
I don't really mind getting hornady sets i hear they are very awesome, but I know I will get more satisfaction from putting meat in the fridge with my own load.
Well, I didn't expect to get great results immediately and I did expect to get some "curveball" effects from spinning them faster than the black powder rifles they are designed for, but I really...
