On that small and short a thread, a cordless drill with the tap chucked does a great job. Hit the reverse switch and the tap will back right out. About 10 seconds to tap each hole.

Didn’t your tap just go into the space in the center of the nut? A normal tap should work fine since it isn’t a blind hole you are tapping.

Outpost,
Interesting idea…. Does the 30 carbine brass come out as rimless 32-20? I would think the brass has to fireform to the 32-20 chamber.
Is the extractor tuned for 30 carbine? Does...

A 12 ga certainly recoils more than a 20 ga. The biggest reason is that a 20ga target load is 7/8 oz of shot while a 12ga is 1 1/8oz. That’s 28% more shot in the 12ga. The velocity of both is...

I would think it will work. The 30-06/308 powder funnel just has a recess that matches the case neck diameter and contacts the case mouth to activate the powder measure.

Wow…. You might want to look at getting it re-bored to a different caliber. Jes is commonly recommended and does great work. Maybe go to 25-20.

Make sure it is on the track correctly! It may not have been put on correctly the last time it was removed.

I really like the collision avoidance package, especially when mt kids are driving the car! Many accidents can be prevented using it.
Most PPC guns are heavily modified and very accurate. Almost all of the shooting is double action only so many of the guns have the hammer bobbed so they only shoot double action. The trigger pulls...

Was the reamer designed to work with a specific choke tube manufacturer? Is it dual diameter?

How would this work with a 30 cal rifle bullet? The core is seated inside the jacket and then point formed in the next step. What you wrote makes sense for pistol bullets, but not rifle.

A couple of the dies are missing the size also.

If the brass sized down that much, you might be over sizing it for YOUR rifle. Back the die out a couple turns and size another case. If it fits your chambers see if a bullet has sufficient neck...

I have a 32 Spec but mostly just use 30-30 brass with an expanded neck. Am I missing something other than the correct headstamp on the brass?

The RCBS 35-200 is probably the most commonly used cast bullet in a 35 Rem. Lee makes a copy of it also. Accurate or NOE makes a hollow point version.

I think you subtracted when you should have added. For a 309 bullet with .001 neck tension, you would want .310x.308, based on your example. I would suggest a .312x.308 would be the better choice. ...
