126711one coat of Mirror Red PTP 400 10 min, so it has less effect on bhn.
Coat is thicker, glossier, better coated than HFT. $7.50 for half pound shipped on ebay. might be the same as Smokes.

I have done an assortment of my boolits with one coat of HF Red with black BB's and they have coated great. I do dump in cool water after.
Passed all tests now time to load up.

Ok guys, this works great. Used HFT red, black air soft bbs. Harbor says 15-20 after they start melting, that's what I do and it works great. No one has mentioned putting in water after to harden....

The lube I made came out the consistency of peanut butter, and I put my finished batch into 2 LLA bottles. I found that 15 seconds in the microwave, with the valve open on top, warms the lube...

just size them and put on a light coat.

I would try cleaning every 500 before you change anything, I wish I could shoot that much. I use 45/45/10 and carnuba red for the faster stuff.

I use carnauba red exclusively now. I tried bac but the red works great for all I shoot, 380,9,38,40,45.

I'm really glad I got the mold off eBay. It completes my rcbs collection, I have all four 9mm molds now. I would appreciate some info on the free chex tool and your method.

I just acquired that mold today, it casts great and takes the hornady gas check great too. I know this is an old post but was wondering if you kept the mold and liked using it.

I have that mold too, no problem using it in 9mm but it's light I'd rather shoot 124gr in my 9

use this expander in the Lee powder thru expander die and problem solved for 6 bucks
