Friend of mine in Missouri told me that they now allow anything other than a centerfire rifle during what used to be strictly archery season over there. I imagine the Striker would be a great choice.

If the rifle was a beater then I would say rebore to .250 or .300 Savage. Anyhoo, number 1 prices just keep going up so you could probably flip it for a profit easily.

Sometimes I get those or little tiny streaks of lead at the end of the bore. I just clean as normal and they never cause problems.

I think of the Axis as being the modern day Savage 340 or Remington 788. A rifle that shoots alot better than its appearance or price would suggest!
