There is a lot of different aluminum alloys. I personally use the one with high % of copper. This helps with casting.

One think to consider..... Are handles free in the mold halves? Mold halves must rattle a bit. If they are fixed, such problems may shows.

I have same problem. I want to reload 32 acp on my square deal B. If some one is capable of making drawings / 3d models I will machine parts and dies.

Base of the bullet can be FB or BB - no problem here. Mold installation is important for 2 thinks. You want sprue to be centered to the mold + it must be parallel.

Yes, you could produce smaller sprue, but it is PITA then to remove it. Bigger (stronger) vent would help to cool down sprue faster.
So compromise for me is...

It is 800 good bullets per hour for now. I think the vent on the machine is too small, and you have to wait for sprue to harden really good, otherwise you have problem removing it.
Still, you can...
