Rodfac must have a Squeeze Bore
I have also had good luck with the RCBS 98 SWC in both the Smith M16 and Ruger Bisley in 32H&R.
The RCBS 98 SWC also makes one of the prettiest little cartridges...
I agree with Dave S. The 329 Smith is the best packing 44 special out there. You get light weight and a full grip and 4" sight radius. Just think of it as a 44 special that you can use 44 mags in. I...
Don't choke up on the grip. You can't take a high DA revolver grip on a large magnum gun like on a 38/357. Shift your grip slightly lower and try it.
I have never been a Colt or Python fan. Last May I picked up a 3" from my LGS. I had service issue that was taken care of by Colt. I will say that if you plan on shooting the new Python, plan on...
I have a 4 5/8" Model 83 in 454. I have also been able to shoot Model 97's in 32 H&R, 357, 45 Colt, and 83's in 357, 44 Mag, and 454. You cannot get a better quality gun from most custom gunsmiths....
LOcal shop had a barely used 3" Colt Python SS. I just had to have it. It shoots very well.
The H&G 50 wadcutters that I loaded last night were seated to the crimp groove and crimped in the groove with the nose of the bullet protruding. The only time you need a flush fit wadcutter is for 38...

85 TSX in 240 Weatherby

I have the Lyman 311291 HP. I have not used them on deer yet but will this year. If you are in Columbia, give me a heads up and I'll set you up with some to try in your 30-30.
Not trying to start a fight, just pass on info. A friend picked up a 41 mag Python in the mid 90s. I questioned him about it, he just bought what he thought was a neat gun. At the time I was working...

I have killed several deer with the Barnes 150gr XFN in a 30-30 AI. They were all 1 shot clean kills, they were all on the ground in 10 yds. The bullet is well matched to 30-30 velocities. I might...
No an expert on bears, but I have never heard of a bear with a bullet energy meter on it. No mention of penetration of dense muscle and heavy bone. Real life isn't a video game. More of a marginal of...
I have reloaded 10mm & 40 since the were introduced. You can not resized the casehead with standard dies. The shell holder and the bevel on the bottom of the die are the reason. When the Redding GRx ...
I have been able to shoot one of the SA35 several times. The gun my friend bought was in the first thousand by serial number. With factory and reloads it has consistently been very accurate. If this...
I have been know Ron Powers since the early 90's. He is a gentleman and I have never heard anyone say otherwise. His craftsmanship is awesome. His skill as a handgun hunter was amazing.
I personally know several gentlemen that shoot with exceptional accuracy. All are dedicated handgun hunters using 454 Casull, 44 mag, 375 JDJ. I have seen many 3" groups shot at 100yds with revolvers...
Having a great day casting Hensley & Gibbs 44 Cal Wadcutter 107.C for my hunting buddy, Jerry. The bullet is a 135gr full wadcutter in 44 cal. Jerry was a dedicated handgun hunter. He took s Cape...
Commander Light Weight in 38 Super and a Delta Elite with 10mm & 40 S&W barrels.
Picked up a Glock M37 45 GAP police surplus years ago. It has a Bar-Sto barrel and Heinie sights and will shoot with any Colt Gold Cup. I shoot it in IDPA competition. It is fun watching people...
In 1984, I bought the first 41 mag Redhawk I saw when I got back in the US from military service in Germany. It is a 7 1/2" Stainless. I have tried mightily but can't wear it out. I'm not getting rid...
I shoot a 4 5/8" FA 83 regularly. My hunting buddy has a 2" that is brutal with factory Freedom 300gr ammo
There is a reason it's called SUPER 38. For a smaller caliber in the 1911 it is great. Easy to to load an extremely wide range of bullet weights and velocities.
