Lapua brass...not sure about best procedure.
I have been fortunate to be able to find a couple of good cache's of 1x fired brass and a good sized lot of new brass that a guy was wanting to get rid...

Well, when you do these noble things...be sure to post a thread...and we will enjoy it with you.
But, it is certainly unbecoming to belittle others because you would do something different were...

I think he has a regular machine shop and his primary business has priority over the smelters...he makes the smelter's as time permits.
I have shot a bunch of 44sp using BE...it rocks. Now, I use more Tite Group or HP38...but that is only because I have a pile of those 2 powders...no reflection on BE.

I found a flat spot with 2400 at about 13.5grs...with charges over this amount, velocity increases nearly stopped...just a rise in pressure. So, for anything over that...I transition to 296, if I want...

Unless you are an exceptional shooter...and you may be...the 429421 will be as accurate as you are. But, get the mold that you want, that is one of the great things about casting...we can shoot the...

Well, nut...since you cannot take a joke...as in the smiley face at the end...I don't owe you any explanation.
Clowns abound...:)...but that is not meant as a joke.
