Anybody using the lee 225 molds? I just picked up one and cast a few round nose ..Not sure haow they will run in an ar. Shorter than a sierra 50 grain 224 .Any OAL advice?

anyone place a mark like an inital on a rd nosed lead cast bullet? Wondering how that would affect trajectory or expansion if at all.Maybe 1/16 inch deep.

I have reloaded over 1000 45's and the only squip i have experienced came from some WOLF I purchased from some personally responsible people...

I have been using the Lee Loadmaster(precision equipment :).
I knew the once fired brass expanded,but never thought, enought to not accept a cast(usually oversized) bullet....

just getting started in rifle reloading..
I have cast and (successfully ) reloaded some 451.45 cal for my 1911.Have not had to size many bullets ,unless my mold was not hot enought etc.

I am new to rifle casting..I have yogo sks ,a russian mosin and a garand..Looking at a .312 155 cast for all...
Will the .312 work in the garand or just the sks and mosin?

thank you guys ,as you can tell I am a bit anxy about my new hobby....I am goning to try Longshot " powder..The data chart shows 6.3 grains for the 230 .45..The VMD comes in at .52 cc on the lee...

I just (tonight) started casting with a Lee production pot 10#.My first casts weight in at 231 (452.dia) but as I got warmed up the majarioty 90% of the rest of my practice session came out ar 234...
