I was able to get to the range this weekend and shoot the G2 Contender at 50 yards. Accuracy was 1" at 50 with the 42gr FP with 1.8gr and 2.0gr of Bullseye .The lighter 37gr HP did not shoot very...

It will take a week or 2 but I will test them at 50 yards.

I bought them last month on GB for $67 for 2000 and yes loading them is time consuming. Both molds engage the rifling very tightly.
The hotter the mold the better the boolits especially with the HP...

You are right and no thanks for that trouble. I will stick with primed cases and go from there.

Finally got to the range this weekend.

A deer is soft so don't expect the bullet to expand unless you hit bone. I have gotten 5/8" - 3/4" wound channels with the same type of bullet. It will kill it and yes it will run a little 50-75...

On the first post the Honcho (runs group buy) describes what needs to be done to order the mold. GB's generally take a long time 6-18+ months to complete

Yes 285gr is a little heavy for 40 cal , I had this and another 41 cal mould at 255gr I could have sized down. This bullet shot good so I used it. I will say that this bullet did stop on the offside...
