I have this dream of a boyscout troop, 20 boys with air rifles, clearing the iguanas out of a public park or golf course. They could probably do the same thing every weekend and not run out of...

So a “friend” wants you to work for free and get him top dollar. The warning signs are blindingly bright on this “opportunity.”
Best to tell him/her how disappointed you are that you don’t have...

As I understand your specific situation, selling any bullets that you cast is not a violation of federal law, technically or otherwise. I don’t know CA
law.
I think you’ll find that proceeds...

Something else killed your worms, diatomaceous earth won’t harm them.
I’m good with the non easy open frames.
I did recently see one for sale with a 30-30 barrel and thought it was overpriced, but that might just be my age and temperment.

Cimexa (sp?) is similar, but more finely ground I think. I’ve dusted that stuff into walls in a rental as a barrier, works well for a long time. Also works when wet.
These work by abrading the...

I think that I have 15 or 20 lbs of 452AA in original cone tops if anyone near Charlotte needs it. I load some in 45acp, but have way more than I will ever use. Stored indoors of course.

I generally have a beverage at hand, coffee in the morning, water in the afternoon.
Other bad habits, I anneal plinking rifle brass and I roll size pistol brass. Oh, and I seem to have an affinity...

I have one mounted at the center of one end of a bench and one at the front left corner of another bench.
I’ve thought about a parrot vise on a quick release plate, but haven’t done it yet.

I don’t think they care about cost at all, they are concerned about optimizing the effectiveness of the small number of soldiers they plan to field in future engagements. Plus, the optics software...

I supplemented one of those with a few 12 pt crowfoot sockets, the ones with the open side to fit over pipes. More expensive, but awesome to work with! Of course the best thing is to disconnect...

Curious if the person mentioned if it was IMR4227 that changed to become more like H4227, the opposite, or that both changed. I guess it’s important to use load data from sources with a similar date...

40% heavier and heavier ammo, but it sounds fun!
Where can I buy one?

I swage the primer pocket when the factory primer was crimped, otherwise not.

Had to reread the original post, but I think the key is “ I will only have one die in the press , a size/decap die and then I can inspect the primed brass before putting powder and seating a bullet.”...

Thanks much, I think I’ll skip the next biopsy and just go for the imaging. We’ll see what it is in a few weeks and then decide.

Rather than running it through twice, try loading with a 650. I think it’s the best hobby priming system.

Asking to understand. What if the 40 came up clean?
I’m in the middle of this process, no treatment yet, still in the watching it phase.

Congrats, had a clean biopsy a year ago, my number jumps around a lot. Thanks all for a very informative discussion.

Red box is late 1970’s to early 1980’s, at least that’s the dates on mine.
I think the green is older, but don’t know.

I haven’t played with quick load, but I don’t expect that their algorithm fully contemplates what you’re contemplating. Then again, maybe it does.

Help me out again, why are you targeting 100% case fill? With a fast powder that creates a bunch of pressure problems in a hurry. Also, as I said above I’d go for lighter weight bullets even if you...
I bought some patches that tended to leaves white dust behind, looked a lot like that. If you hit it with compressed air do they move?
I’d also try some foaming bore cleaner, give it time to work.

I think that’s the right approach, in fact I was guessing that 1gr of TG under a 115gr LRN seated flush is probably close to what you want. Just don’t seat down into the web of the case as that may...
