I saw a gelatin test yesterday (on YouTube) and the Buffalo Bore 60-grain load passed through 15-17 inches of 10% Ordnance Gelatin.
This is a better load for the "micro-gun" than I had thought.

I now have a Bauer that was almost NIB. The bore is perfect and there is no wear on the slide. The only difference between the Bauer and "Baby" Browning, is the direction you turn the barrel to...

I hope to buy a few Metalform 32-round magazines upon its arrival. This should be an excellent Home Defense carbine.:bigsmyl2:
Thoughts? Opinions?
I was lubricating my Zastava Model 70 last night. (God help me, but I LOVE that little pistol)! I know that that little .32 ACP, loaded with 73-grain Fiocchi FMJ ammunition, can/will "settle...
I think that a .25 'rimmed' (revolver type) cartridge the length of a .32 S&W Long might make a good seven shot "I" frame revolver.
I remember the 357/44 Bain & Davis. When it came to the heavier loads, the problem with setback was pronounced. Perhaps a strong .32 S&W Long case (a .32 H&R Magnum trimmed to the length of a .32 S&W...
A six-shot revolver with a three-inch (or even four-inch) barrel would drive either a 50-grain (up to 60-grain) .251" bullet at velocities between 1300 and 1400 fps (depending on barrel length).
...
I have a "J" frame shrouded-hammer Airweight in .32 H&R Magnum. With its 2" barrel it can "vanish" in either a shoulder holster or IWB. Light, fast, and six shots can be dumped into a bad guy very...
Correct! This, indeed, was an ammo failure. Had it been running at optimum speed, it likely would have blown on through the back of his oral cavity and lodged in, or near, his spine. "Mr. Bunghole"...
From what I understand the newer Charter Arms are far superior to the offerings made a couple of years ago. I, too, have an original 1991 Charter Arms Bulldog chambered for the .44 S&W Special.
I...
I can launch a flurry of .25" 6-7 "icepicks" at a range of 24 inches within 3-4 seconds. Believe me, I did my homework before I plunked down $400.00 for an unfired example of a pistol that is more...
Burying a Buffalo Bore 50-grain .25 at the base of a goblin's throat should generally stop a threat. (Rupturing a larynx will almost certainly end a confrontation and deliver a miscreant to the...
I understand this, but can you hide the Glock 42 where you can conceal either a "Baby Browning" or my Bauer? How does the Glock 42 mitgate the "nuclear" (+p) 9mm Browning loads?
Yep. The .25 ACP can "screw up an afternoon" rather quickly. A 50-grain, Buffalo Bore FMJ in my Bauer would be a decent bet . At 810 fps and 73 foot-pounds of energy, the "boutique" Buffalo Bore ...
I nearly bought one of those Mauser pistols in .32 ACP. (My father would have had to sign for it as I was only 16 years old). I always thought that the little pistol would accomplish the task had it...
Had she shot him at the base of his throat, the goblin would likely have drowned in his own blood. (And the world would have been be a better place for it).
Many among us that have carried handguns for employment (Law Enforcement/Security Officer/Military/et.al.) have drawn the conclusion that these arms are used to poke holes.
The deeper the hole,...
I am firmly convinced that during an armed confrontation, blasting an attacker in the face will likely change their minds. If you terminate their career, so much the better. (They really weren't...
I agree 100%! When they aren't noticed, these pistols/revolvers can come in mighty handy. I would like to see someone reengineer a "Velodog" revolver in either .25 NAA, or .32 ACP. Such a revolver...
This is the raison d'etre for the Buffalo Bore .25 ACP loads (both 50-grain FMJ and 60-grain Cast Boolit loads). when it comes to short-barreled "micro pistols" penetration is your friend!
These are great little pistols because they shoot well. You should buy an Zastava M57 rear sight blade and have a qualified gunsmith slide it into position. This will solve the "bulky sight" problem...

This is a good review of the Fraser/Bauer .25 ACP pistol.
