If you might ever want to convert to a 4 hole, now might be the time, before you get more 3 holers. I believe Lee sells a 4 hole top section that fits in the place of the 3 holes top plate. At least...

My Marlin 336 is micro groove also. Here is a 50 yard target with a Lyman 31141 powder coated bullet. Weigh about 175 grains and were sized at 309. Pushed with 29 grains of IMR 4895.
Not too bad...

Might I suggest using APP instead of real BP? Cleanup with water and a lot less corrosive. Also easier to load as it doesn’t get compressed in the case prior to installing the bullet. Also lots more...
