Those 22LR REM Golden Bullets always disappoint!

Very few men who shoot cast their own bullets.
They come out with all other kinds of doo-dads and presses but the cast bullet mold inventory remains the same. Only the price keeps casters hanging on.

Been reloading and casting for over 50 years but always seem to learn something new here. Great tips!
I think LEE could use a few more designs too like a 147gr. 9mm and maybe a Keith type 44. Maybe 6 cavity versions of their light 30 caliber bullets for M1 Carbines. I don’t buy 2 cavity molds.
Mine are a little big. Usually cast .359 to .360 out of COWW+2% and I never tried to make them bigger. They’re over 10 years old. Maybe it was a good day at the plant when they were made. I size my...
The LEE 120 TC usually casts about 122 grains and feeds in all of my Sigs.

Yes, if you’re going back in time pick up 10 of those M1 Garands and M1 carbines advertised in the 60s and early 70s for $69.95 a piece. I guess that was a lot of money back then when folks were...

I have a hard time understanding why gas checks should cost so much. Somebody please tell me why?

Had the wife pick up some Armor All Wash & Wax like was suggested. Wow! What a difference. My Dawn washed cases were sticking on the Dillon powder expander before and it took some upward effort on...

I did the survey and got a 5% discount coupon.

Looks really nice. I’ll need two. Always some new doo-dad to buy but I don’t seem to mind!

I’m more worried about lead being outlawed. We may be the last generation that gets to enjoy casting and shooting lead bullets. I’m 66 now and have been casting since 1968. Don’t think our grandkids...

Those .38 Supers shoot like lasers too. Really sweet in a 1911. I feel your pain.

Amazing how big 9mm barrels have become. But when I shoot some Blazer brass or WWB FMJ .355 ammo, it shoots good too in my Sigs.

All of my Sig pistols barrels slug at .357. Only the Barsto replacement barrel for my Sig P226 slugs at .355. I use .358 bullets in everything except the Barsto.

I just wish LEE would expand their cast bullet mold selections. Like maybe a 147 gr. 9mm or a 245 gr. Keith style bullet for 44 Mag. Just sying that they could be selling more molds. I have their 9mm...

I agree with this statement. I’ve stored wheelweights, lead, and Linotype in old 5 gallon buckets, that had been outside exposed to the sun, in my garage. Been there for many years. When I went to...

I've been reloading for 9mm and 44 magnum for years. Not until I started working with my Marlin 1894 44 Mag did I pay much attention to the expander powder funnel diameter of my Dillon 550 die sets. ...

You will love this little APP press. I ordered one which I use to deprime 9mm cases for stainless pin tumbling too. The good part is that if you get the LEE Universal case feeder with the collator on...

I online ordered 10k small pistol primers and 10k large pistol primers. Should be enough to hold me for a long time. Was able to get an 8 lb. jug of Unique also.
