I shot back in the early 80's with a Ruger SBH,429421 and a heathy dose of 296. Shot locally on a 100yd course using my K38 with a dot sight until a couple years ago. I just couldn't seem to keep...

Buy a tube of silicone gasket material. Stick the sight on with it and it will hold just fine for testing purposes. When you're done you can peel it off with your finger. I glued a Weigand scope...

Shot my first 25 straight in skeet with a Model 58. They point well and handle very much like the 1100 they preceded.
296/H110 are max performance .357/.44 Mag powders and they are superb in that role. If you want to back down from the 1300fps envelope there are better powders for 1000-1100fps range.
As long as you're not using them in an auto (where they can cause a jam) I wouldn't worry about it. The nail polish idea should work well. BTW The Nobel Sport 688 primers are .002" larger than...
Try your Lee 125 with 4-4.2 Bullseye, consistent 2.5" 50yd groups with my K-38 and Ruger GP.

I would go with whatever you desire. That said, both guns will easily run 40 off the bench, you're the determining factor on the line.

Automotive Clear coat polishing compound.

I've done a number of stocks with it wiping it on. Easy to work with.

Been shaving with electrics for 60 years. Started with the Remington foil shavers then went to the Norelco style shavers for a while. Just bought a Braun Series 7 and am very happy with it, shaves...
I have used up many thousands of Cheddites over the past few years with no real problems. However a substantial number of Browning Citori O/U's have a tendency to pierce Cheddites in the lower...
A plain old K38 is more than adequate to compete in PPC. I simply added a much higher front sight to be able to "6 O'clock" the head on the silhouette and have the shots fall in the 10 ring. The...

If your Andersen frames are not rotted Andersen has replacements that fit into the old frames. I had Andersen Narolines from the 60's and the frames were good so replaced them with the inserts back...
I have the Ranch Dog version and it feeds fine in my P3AT KelTec, have put a couple thousand through it. Loaded it in my K38 and it is a very accurate bullet. Excellent design!

That bullet is an excellent one in the .38spl sized@.358, very accurate. I've shot thousands of them over 4.2 Bullseye in my K38 and Rossi .357 rifle. In the .380 they are a bit much. I cracked...
I've shot multiple thousands of 358429 Lymans from a 4 cav I bought in the late 60's. My mold had the round lube groove and when matched with max loads of 296/H110 six shot benched 50yd groups ran...
As others have said it's a fast powder, a little quicker than Red Dot and 700x on the burn rate charts. I would treat it as Bullseye for hand gun reloading if I couldn't find specific E3 data.

Love my "pot metal" Henry H001 carbine. Solid 3/4" 10 shot 50yd groups with decent std velocity ammo.
I load on a Progressive press with different size bushings. Bullseye is a very fine flake powder and meters dead on every time, not even a tenth variation. My Reading powder measure with the pistol...
Another vote for Bullseye (4.5grs) and the lee 125 rnfp. Solid 3moa 100yd load out of 2 Rossi 92's, runs just a hair over 1200fps..
Forum: Leverguns
Both of my Rossi's will feed wadcutters if they are crimped in the middle lube groove. That said I don't bother shooting them in it. Both guns shine with Lee 125 RNFP and Lee 158 TLSWC.
I vaguely remember Brian Enos using 3.5-3.7 Clays with a 230LRN and making Major.
Being an old PPC guy myself the P3AT works just fine for me. I would not consider a.25.
I started with a KelTecP3AT and still have it today. For me it works. Light, thin and small, 100%reliable, over all it's a great pocket gun. Not fun to shoot with the Ranch Dog bullets but I have...
