Harry, do you lubrisize your .41 Colt bullets upside down like Windy Kid City stated? And do you use Lyman or RCBS? They have correctly sized dies.

I use Starline cases with a 184gr Rapine 386185 HB and get 19gr of BP. How much are you compressing the powder and where do you crimp? Mine are crimped in about the middle of the front driving band.

Those 222gr look like they were cast off the NEI #246B mould. The 210gr look like what the Rapine would cast. I can't buy boolits across the border because I live in Canada, but thanks.

I want to cast for an old BP Winchester in .44-40. It slugged to .432" but all .44-40 moulds I have seen have been .430" at the largest. I looked at some at Buffalo Arms and Lee.

Didn't charge me more, perhaps that's why he did such a lousy job on the hollow base pins?
