I've made a fair amount of 32-40 brass from 30-30 over the years.
32-40 has always been hard to find and the 30-30 works good, despite being a bit short.

If you open the breech while having a hangfire, the breechplug will go through you like a bullet and you will die.
If you do not keep the firing pin and its' channel clean, the gun will discharge...

12 Ga. black powder loads on a Lee whack-a-mole in about 1969.
It's been all down hill since.

I have two. One is still in use, the other needs the dawg-bone shaped link replaced.
I wish I had bought spare parts when they were available.

I always enjoyed Elmer Keith's writing.
A few years ago when I bought a 1903A3 Springfield, I got lucky and found one with his stamp from the time that he inspected rifles at Ogden for the army.

I have bought a number of AR15 uppers from Delta Team Tactical recently.
They have parts in several price ranges.
The less expensive ones have been satisfactory for me.

Thanks,
That might be the one. A bit pricey compared to Lee, $93 vs $18.
I really wanted to stay with the 140gr, but for the price of the mould, I might have to compromise and shoot a 125 gr.

I bought some .358 diameter 140 gr truncated cone plain based boolits from Lasercast a few years ago.
I would like to cast some instead of buying them, however, I cannot seem to find a mould for...

Any idea roughly how much an All American with the primer feed and a couple shell holders is worth?

I got a cheap digital postal scale off ebay.
It goes up to 35 lbs and measures to the tenth of an ounce.
It cost less than $20.

When I was younger, folks would give a kid a lard tin to put the brass into and then pay him a nice shiney quarter each time he brought it back full. I could sometimes make a couple of bucks a day...

The 45-70 Contender is pretty nasty, but it pales in comparison to a full house 180 gr .357 Mag from a S&W snubby.

The Lee case lube (not lla) works well. I put some on a cleaning patch and give a quick wipe to the first couple then every second boolit. It leaves so little residue behind that I don't bother to...
I've used the Lyman 31141 in both cartridges.
It is a gc boolit.

Maybe.....
If you have a Lee classic cast turret press, the dies are mounted very close and the Hornady locknuts are too large. I replaced the Hornady locknuts with the much smaller Lee locknuts....

I would be tempted to try lining the chamber with a shortened .22 mag case with the head removed.
Loctite might hold it in place well enough for casual use.
If that works out, the recoil spring...
