You have already recieved the best tips i can think of, but I will add it depends a little on what you want your loads to do. Fouling control is my main starting point, if accuracy is the only...
When Hornady brought out the 454 there first run of ammo was recalled for this very reason. Some were blaming the cylinder on the Ruger Super Redhawk but it was fine, seems the FA did not have the...

The 94 is a much better handling platform for pistol rounds for me, although in 44 mag bites some.
I use CFE Pistol for my cast 38 special also. Meters well in the Dillon and I picked up several lbs cheep when it first came out. As is posted earlier Hogdon data works well.
Thanks, I interested in finding accurate bc numbers. If it will show velocity at multiple ranges it may be worth the cost.
How do you like the LabRadar, I like the idea if it works as advertised?

I would shoot a few and see what the fouling is like. 36 or so seems to be the best for me with a large grease groove, any more and he fouling is getting hard and repeated shots become less accurate....

Well I vote for the 38-40 for what you want to do. 35gr of 2f will send a 180gr slug to 200 yards with ease and brass is not hard to come by.

Tom at accurate molds has always came through for me you may give him a chance. Also Powder Inc will ship Black.

WW will be hard but 50/50 pure lead t0 WW may work but tends to harden over time. I use 36gr of Old E 2f in mine. 2 parts beeswax and 1part neatsfoot oil and one part Murphy's oil works well for me....

I find cold water and Dawn works as well as any. Usually one wet, two dry, one more wet, a nylon brush, and two more dry. Usually the cleaning is done at this point so I run one with WD40 to remove...

I have found with loose dimentions accuracy seems to improve with more compression to a point. I would increase the amount of powder while noting the amount of fouling and how hard it is to get the...

My Colt Frontier Six Shooter has cylinder mouths of.427 and a groove of .430 and shoots quite well for a revolver thats 127 years old. Around 2" at 25 yards from a rest. It does take a full case of...

I use Mobile One Synthetic wheel bearing grease for my base pin. I would try Old Eynsford or Swiss powder and work the load up to a cleaner burn, I seem to have the best luck with Old E 2f in my 44...

What will it do unexpectedly? I would guess there will be a large ball of fire upward and slightly outward depending on the amount of it in the pile. One would not want to contain it in any way.

I use the 43-215c as well and am happy with it. I do not have the 43-210b so cannot make a comparison but if using black I'm not sure you can get to much lube. I hate to admit but with Unique Very...

I once took a 6.5 x 55 home because I had a cleaning jag so this seems very reasonable to me.

What is the tang sight on your 73? I have one and like a peep at least for load development but I usually leave them.

It is hard to tell in your photo, but looks to me like the lifter is not rising all the way to the top. It should be flush with the chamber at the mouth.

I like the castor myself it stays put very well but I don't think it shoots any better.

I usually find the opposite. Mine shoots lower off the bench, I think because of how my back is arched. When I'm standing there is less mass behind the barrel so it recoils upward while the ball is...

Me being a 44WCF lover, I would like to point out that not everyone hand loads or shoots for the same reason. When I started out money was the reason, then accuracy became the driver, and now loading...
