    FWIW,

I quit making .30 boolits from 9mm cases. Too much work for mediocre results.

I've made .355's from 9mm cases, .223 cases, .30m1 cases and .32 Long cases. However, for a proper length 9mmP bullet all must be trimmed. (I'm using CH4D dies)

The best case in my opinion would...

I've made excellent 9mm/.355 bullets from the bottom portion of .223 cases. Reducing a .223 case to a .30 jacket will be a challenge with that thick base.

    Hi Chris,

    This is what I do:

    - Trim 9mm cases to desired length
    - Reduce the cases to .354 by pushing them through a modified Dillon 9mm crimp die
    ( I can do this in 1...

    Hi,

I reduce 9mm cases to .354 to make .355 boolits out of them. Downside is that the cases/jackets need to be trimmed to be able to make suitable bulletweights for the 9mmP.

Seems to me the primer is mangled by the pressure as there is a hollow space in front of it. Some primers loose their grip as a result and seperate from the bases after the bullets leave the barrel.
