Pretty much the same thing. I used a Lee Dipper to load by volume, not weight. I really don't remember which dipper, but it was about 1/16'' of an inch shy from filling the case.

I've never had any problem just useing Alox. The trick with any lube is don't over do it.

Lee products are my favorite, I own some other stuff, but it almost never gets used. Lee is not only always cheaper, it is also easier to use, which is as big of a plus with me as the price.

I load my .45 LC with 30 gr.3f Goex , a cork or fiber gasket, a Wonder Wad, and a 230 gr RNFP home cast lead bullet.

I'm partial to a little chunk of beeswax,myself. Since I use a beeswax/Crico mix to lube my mini balls,I just keep any rejects,and drop them in coated with lube. like a flux depth charge.
