I can do it manually, no problem. But that's just a waste of time. When I have a good tool for it in my CAD program.

My CAD program tells me the weight of the boolit, with the right density.
With pure lead, my boolit will weigh 152 gr. I haven't checked with the hollowpoint.

I'm tinkering with the thought, about making a smooth walled swc boolit mold, for my .357 Mag.
But my Google-fu draws a blank, on designing the boolit.

Where do I find some...

I have shot a decent amount of PC boolits through my cans, and haven't experienced anything negative yet.

It's a little extra work, but it is probably the best solution, for the best result.

The boolits are for subsonic .308, if that makes any difference.

I have cast a bunch of boolits, using Lee .309 160 & 180 gr mold.

I planned on using a gas-check on them, but then i wondered. Is lube necessary when using gas-check?
