Forum: Black Powder Cartridge
Good for you!
Same here...
"Perfect"..!
"...have held up well" was in reference to their continuous popularity since their initial debut.
I was not making any claims or comparisons about "Stopping Power".
I hate to sound cynical or jaded or indifferent, as I am none of those, but, my first thought with this, was to think "It's a Glock, and the guy is an idiot, so, who cares?"
And, then...no second...
The .32 ACP, .380 ACP, and 9 mm P-'08, and .45 ACP have held up well these last 114 to 122 or so Years.
As has .38 Special these last 124 years...
And, if so...what have been some favorite Loads for them?
Seems like the SAVAGE .32s and 380s I have, prefer the Loadings to be a little hotter than usual US Off the Shelf ones in order to cycle...

Black Powder just has a nicer recoil and report also...it is my favorite for any Cartridge it can work well in.
Forum: CB Loads / Military Rifles
Yeahh, whew! - there are a lot more variables with this Bullet wise, than with Revolver or Semi Auto Pistol. Not that they do not have their own several important things to work together, but, this...

Your description co-responds to everyone I have ever known who was moderately active or quite active with re-Loading.
It's just how it is!
Lol...
I've done this!
1994 or so, at the Sahara Gun Show in Las Vegas, I bought a lovely high condition Magazine for the early 'STAR' Model M Pistol, for $5.00.
Fast forward to 2018, and, I finally...

I have a 1980 Ford E-250 Club Wagon, which I bought about five years ago, fairly low miles, and seller mentioned how nice the Tires were ( which he had put on in 1982 ).

Forum: Boolit Lube !
Thanks Outpost75!
I have Tallow and Olive Oil, and I have ATF.
What would the motive or reason be?
200 to 233 Grain is too heavy for .38 Special.
If having safe pressures for the Revolver, the Bullet would indeed have to be quite slow...and, the Propellant...

The secret for finding such 'lost / misplaced' items, is to look for something else, or, buy another one, then, either way, it turns up!

Forum: Boolit Lube !
Just wondering...
Is there a FPS limit for pure Beeswax Lube, with Cast Boolits?
Okay, well, here is what an honest man would have said -
"For all practical purposes, Cup is .927 of PSI..."
So, there is our answer.
What is 16-18000 CUP in "PSI"?
I can not get used to 'CUP' since it relates to nothing anyone could or would ever deal with in any part of the real world for anything...it seems an utterly useless...
