Never heard of a set trigger on a lever gun. Is that for real? and if so, how does it work?

Here is a Masters Degree study at Missouri report backed by Fiocchi of America. Fiocchi wouldn't have allowed it to be published if there were any information in it that would increase their...

My son-in law owned and now runs Discrete Ballistics in Wyoming that specializes in subsonic hunting ammo. It's all in the bullet and he has several bullet patents that make for darn deadly stuff. ...

So guys
O.K.; I used to shoot heavy guns with no problem. I actually thought they were fun. I am now 85 years old an have immense problems with recoil. A 12 gauge with heavy slugs in not an...
They are a bit more expensive than $70 now ($124 on Amazon) but, re BLAHUT, a Bugbuster scope makes a dandy all around scope and they balance an AR nicely because they aren't very big.

I have his 44 gas check maker. It's as good as I am an operator of it. Don't know how to fix this last part. :-)
I can only add that Skinner is pricey but what I got (guide type) was very nice stuff.

As Froggie says: It depends. Wilson dies for bench rest ONLY neck size and you can't beat their accuracy. Cases last almost indefinitely.
In general, bench guns are not field guns (though...

Used to shoot a little bench-rest. Very meticulous break in until my last barrel. Saw the McMillan thing and never looked back. Had problems and I quit shooting bench, but still have the rifle. ...
Not arguing; just curious. How did you insert it so it got jammed up? On mine, when you set the ring in the right place so the holding-pin will snap up to index it there is still a minute amount of...
The quick change works just fine. Great for experimental loading a few a a time.

My Henry is 44 mag, but my experience may be helpful to you. I experimented a lot with trying to get longest lengths and always had problems. It's a pretty nice gun, but it's not a target rifle. ...

Henry is super good at handling problems, very fast at handling things, and they pay the freight both ways. NO CHARGE to you whatever. Less than 2 weeks turnaround here.

I can't believe we here at castboolets have trolls that are trying to aggrandize themselves by showing us how educated and knowledgeable they are at HollowPoint's expense. I have a Physics degree,...

I have one in 44. I think your problem is that your material is too thin so it distorts as the cutting/forming ram comes up. I use .014" aluminium and checks are ok. I've tried can material for...

Absolutely true. I'm 84 now and can hardly move an ammo can full.
Back before good expanding bullets were available, it was a thing (as a self-defense load) to load hollow base lead wadcutters backwards to have the giant 'cup point' forward. I made lots of them...
I used to read everything by Elmer that I could get my hands on and I seem to remember that Keith showed or believed that wadcutters lose accuracy at longer ranges. I think they became unstable out...

The Germans especially used to be known for loooong headspace measurements -- no go often went in on Mausers. They considered it a safe practice anyway (if memory serves, they'd even allow .010!...
Strange: I thought I was just getting old regarding recoil hurting where it never did before (348 win was nothing, or 44 mag in a revolver), but since heart attacks I've become way into hurt mode...
You guys that use evaporust: Do you soak the molds in it or wipe-on wipe off. How do you rinse the molds and handles so the residue comes off?
