I plan to gift some of my firearms to people well before I pass. I think it'll be fun to give presents and see the responses while I'm alive.
I have several cerakoted Tisas. With my first, a duty, I used Balistol. One day, I disassembled a cleaned gun to notice much of the Balistol had evaporated away. That first one of mine has a fair bit...

I have not figured out what a 410 bore levergun is optimal for, but several companies are offering them.
I know Rossi and Henry have pump guns in 22LR and 22WMR, and both already offer leverguns....

Curious how so many shotguns, that use an even larger rimmed shell are working great.

It seems like it would be seriously fun. They could corner the market. If they did offer one, would you want one?

I ordered a four cavity for a 380, finally. Thanks Wolfdog91.
Years ago, when I asked about a custom head stamp, their minimum was 250,000 pieces.
I can tell you they make brass for other companies, as I got Hornady brass mixed in with an order from the...
I'm curious, will your new 1911A1 plunk a cast bullet fine, or do you think it'll need to be throated?
Buds Gunshop had the Tisas Sting Ray in 45 on sale for $430 the other day. That's the Commander length one also with an aluminum frame and the "bob tail".

I find a "salad spinner" handy for separating pins from wet brass. I've been using one from IKEA for years now.
I then tumble the brass in an old t shirt. I hold the shirt at four corner like it's...

I wonder, of all the 22LR boolits fired into the berms at shooting ranges, how far do those little buggers go? I see tons of 38 and 45 caliber bullets sitting atop the berm, but no 22 cal boolits....

Doesn't brake cleaner contain petroleum distillates? Using brake cleaner is like oiling your mold in my opinion. The brake cleaner could contribute to the wrinkling problem.
I have a 32 H&R Mag Charter with fixed sights that I sent to the factory because it was shooting low. Their fix was to file about half the front sight off.

I would say precious metals would be very useful if we implement a central bank digital currency, and you'd like to privately transact with someone - maybe avoid paying taxes.
As for SHTF, why not...
I should provide an update on mine. I did find the spring/plunger assembly that fits within the crane had a kink in the spring. It took a couple months to get the part, but after installing the new...
In my 357 rifles, I've had a lot of good results with IMR4227. In my experience, it works best with heavier bullets.

I doubt most fail to realize how much time they waste watching TV, or streaming. I've only shot about 4,000 rounds in the past year. But, they were all my reloads with bullets I cast.
Like 20 years ago, I was at a pawn shop and had the choice of a used 696, or a single six. I opted for the single six cause I could not afford the 44 special ammo. That 696 was pretty.

If Ruger could redesign the Model 60 to fire short, long and long rifle, that would be interesting.
I really like the Stingray and Devilray. Both I have are in 45. A much more affordable way to get into bob tailed 1911s.
The issue I have with two of the four I bought are the the magazine...

I guess work hardening would impact spring back, or the ability of the brass to take shape.

My dies are Lee, probably at least 10 years old. If I have out of spec dies, that could explain it. Good thought!

I frequent the range - maybe going two to three times a month. I pick up much of the brass I see. I'll never pass over the chance to get 45 Auto brass. I have been collecting it for at least 13...

I heard a good phrase a couple months ago; "people don't listen to you to hear what you have to say, this listen to you to hear you say what they already believe."
Reading a lot of posts it seems...

I don't worry about the economic benefits of reloading anymore. The benefits of reloading for me are;
1. If I am reloading, I am not sitting on the couch streaming something I really don't care...
