I’ve not seen one like it. I’d guess it would be called 429-240-1R. It looks shorter in the nose than the current 429-240-2R.

The RCBS you speak of is probably the RCBS-38-150-SWC. I have one and I love it, it shoots great, but it's not very speed reload friendly. I use it in my wife's 686 with speed loaders.
Another...

Wow that's cool! I didn't know that there was ever anything like that. A table top lube sizer. Thank you for sharing, and thank you Bent Ramrod for sharing what it is.

Lord, I ask you for Creek, that you would touch his body and heal him. That he would not have cancer, and that what he does have would be miraculously healed. I pray you'll give the doctors wisdom...

Nice, I love the short barreled Blackhawks, both the flattops and regulars. I carry that 44 daily in a Simply Rugged sourdough pancake holster.
I've not chronographed the Sketter load from it, so...

I've had good accuracy from the Lee 358-140-SWC too. Some targets around an inch at 25 yards from my wife 686, rested of course.

I've been wanting to try the Lee-356-147-TC in 38 Special. It sure looks like it'd fit the bill if taper crimped or collet crimped.

Howdy and welcome 6.5X284ever. The bullets you're looking at are almost identical except for the 43-250P has a semi-wadcutter style front driving band.
Chambering will be nearly the same on...

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Like has already been stated hard cast is just a general term. If given the choice, I've found that 12 BHN bullets work for all of my needs including magnum pistol...

I have some of the 6 cavity handles that need pinning. They get loose and I have to give them a little tap to keep them from sliding all the way off.
I'm glad for this thread because it reminded...

In Kentucky, there is both a spring and fall season.
My family often had a thanksgiving style dinner in late spring as well as the traditional thanksgiving dinner in november.
I have loaded a lot of the Lee TL452-230-2R in 45 ACP and it always fed flawlessly for me. I loaded it so about .010 of the top driving band was above the case mouth. It fed in my Springfield Armory...

Thanks all for sharing in my praise! I did collect the wrench.

I was on my way to bible study and I saw a wrench in the road at an intersection between a county road and a state highway. I turned around and pulled into the country road and hopped out. I heard a...

Thanks all. The friend with strep is better now! The other that needs healing, has relief from his issue. I am over the cold.
I do have one other unspoken.
Thanks everyone for the prayers!

It did cross my mind to set out next to that down tree... and see if a tom came to visit too, come season. I'll have to find my book, I'm thinking maybe spring turkey is either in or very close.

Congratulations... I think. At least it's a caliber that you can find brass for. Unless... difficult to feed is your preferred variety of cartridges.

I was doing some research on the SAECO 383 and I am wondering what cartridge it was actually designed for? 38 Super? I thought it'd have much too long of a nose for 9mm, but it seems that some get it...

Yep, a hen, right there in the yard when I went out late morning. I don't know if she just happened to be passing through, or is planning on nesting... I hope the latter. We used to have one that...
