    Thanks for the info. I need to melt down a bunch to save space. I think melting in my 12 inch dutch oven. I have a couple of hundred pounds. Should it be shiny like lead when At temp?

    I have not cast uding GC bullets and wonder at what velocity you need them?

    I was wrong. The bigger plate is 3/4 inch thick...

    I was wrong. The bigger plate is 3/4 inch thick and 6" x 6.5"
    The smaller one is 3/8 x 4" x 4"
    I am not sure they go together but they had shrink wrap to hold all of them together.
