With grooves and you're wanting nice fill at the base, I'd be casting at 740f. Yes I know, it will heat up the mold faster, but it's the price to pay.

I size at least. 001" over, sometimes. 0015 over for 9mm

My process on GC has always been snap the check on first and then nose first through the die.

296 is same as H110, and is a great magnum load. I have used extensively for 44mag, you will like. Just make sure you are with min-max. It's a flashy powder.

So far it seems to fit together well. I printed the lower on 1mm nozzle with left over spools and the upper (green) at 0.3mm nozzle. I'm waiting for motor and controller parts to come in tomorrow. ...

Thanks for responding MSUICE! I reset one of my printers with a 0.3mm nozzle, and Painfully waiting through a 7.5hr print to see if the fine resolution can be met... If nothing else I will report...

From what you are saying, I would treat the 3% expansion the same as how we cast oversize and the size down.
