Be sure and get a die set with a M die expander…….Tight chambers will hang if the brass it too large where the boolit is parked.

I use Lee 401-175-TC. I use it on hogs in a carbine platform and the G20. Killed out to 120 yards with carbine at 1600 fps. Not sure in 1911, but works fine in the carbine chamber.

My post concerns allow properties and how it effects growth/shrinkage when bullet is dropped from mold. Will a .311 mold drop .311, or .314, or .310.

Do your bullets grow when dropped?

Be sure and slug it. My NEW Sporter slugged .375, and Winchester so stated. 24” Barrel and I use IMR4198. 4895 will leave lots of unturned powder in tube.
