A friend of mine just got one of these and broke it in this morning. I really liked it and may pick one up. Very nice trigger for a striker fired pistol.

3.2 grains of Clays is a great load for that bullet.

I've read the first couple years had this issue, then Remington made a change that greatly increased durability. Shame though, I passed on a cherry 1st year production 572 for $250 due to this issue.

Got two bricks of Federal 510 yesterday for $29 each at a small, local shop. They had more .22 on the shelf than I have seen in a long time.

I have a few favorite loads for mine; 1) 158 LSWC with 6.1 Unique or 2) 180 Dardas flat point with 12.5 grains of 2400.

Both will shoot a big hole at 25 yards with open sights.

I load 3.1 Red Dot with 125 RNFP or 148 wadcutters. Both are mild, accurate and plenty of power for the 25 yard plate/bowling pin rack.
