I ran another test though a 20 mesh screen, The red dot will drop 10% fines, The rest will stay, Their is no way to separate the fines. I guess a ton of work might work...30 @ 40 Mesh might work?...

I have the same mold 360271-S and drops at .360 @ 147 grains, It is a 2 cavity. VERY accurate! And no vent lines. Drops prefect BOOLITS.

jimkim, I just ran a test with my screens and the 2400 will pass through a 20 mesh screen but not a 21 mesh, Hope this helps!

Since most primers built today are built around lead styfanate (sp) I suspect metal powders are involved, Magnesium or aluminum.

I have a full set of screens and would NOT attempt this, To many fines get though.

Yea, You might try a different mold or do a two step sizing, Being that one side loses the grooves I am in agreement as to alignment. The grooves must be shallow to begin with. As to being usable..?...

If you are using ball shells, HDPE is plenty strong enough, Cylinder shells not so much, May be two break at most otherwise use steel pipes and bury them. You did not say if you are planning to build...

HDPE pipe is what you need, Glue and screw a 3'' wood block in the bottom. Build a rack to stabilize, Go with a 3' length and shoot to 500'. I use 3/8 wall tubing. And use a peace of chicken fuse!
