Hey Boolit guys, just wondering how much you would expand the neck on a 30 30 casing using the Lee universal expander?
Using Lee 150,113 and 180 moulds and applying gas checks.

Do you need to use a neck expander if your using a gas check?
Using lee .309 molds for 30 30 and win brass. 113 and 150 pills.

Just melted up another batch of WW today . Did a hardness test and came up with 80. l quess it will harden over the next few days to at least 70.
l find the whole process of melting down WW pretty...

Hi Boolit dudes, can you guys help me out with using wheel weights to make boolits. So far l have melted down some clip on WW in an old aluminium sausepan and made some ingots.
l must say the end...

Looks like the Rossi is a copy of the marlin 336 in as much as the instructions seem to be the same[remove 4 pieces].Lever screw,lever , bolt and clip.
Was very easy to strip the bolt out and clean...

Thanks Artful, will give it a go. Of to the range to release some lead with the rossi 2morro.
Will need to give it a real good clean after that.

Hey guys just got a Rossi rio grande in 30 30 . Didnt seem to come with instructions to remove bolt for cleaning.
Can anyone help me out as far as striping the bolt out so l can clean the barrel...
