I took a few of BT Sniper's swaged .429 257gr JHPs to the range this weekend. I loaded them pretty light just to get a feel for them indoors. They shot great. I'll load up a few thumpers next time. ;)

What if you drill a hole in the scrap to fit a shell holder, then use that to hold a loaded round for drilling your HP?

I use #24 walnut media from Harbor Freight with a capful of NuFinish in each tumbler load. Makes the cases sparkle and the NuFinish makes the cases slide through dies like buttah.

I have a PA-63 and have had very good luck with Georgia Arms Shear Power Plus ammo. They load a 9x18 95gr Gold Dot and push it out the barrel at 1000fps.
