I am interested in anything related to the Lee press for swageing? THANKS

I can not find the Lee press of which you speak. Do you have a mfg number for the press or ram? THANKS

Since George Ulrich retired does anyone make a bullet swage adapter like he did for a Lee press ?

If you do not have an early model Rock Chucker with the large ram then it will be cheaper to get his little aluminum press. His dies screw into the ram.

If you are wanting to make long bullets such as a 6mm x 115 grain copy of a Berger you will have to drop big bucks for a swage press that will make a 1.6" long bullet as most cheaper swage presses...

Ok I have saved it at least till I have a putter crash. Will have to get some ink to print a copy. One question, what current steel would be equal to the tool steels he was using?

I only shoot loads at 350 yds that shoot tight groups at 100 and then under very good conditions. When mirage starts up I usually shoot my Berger or Bib test loads and go to the house. They usually...

Have a 10S and going to try a 12S or ULD. Things all have to be perfect for me to get a 1" group at 350yds with the 10S. That may be as good as it gets for me.

Anyone use one of Corbins ultra low drag secant point form dies? Getting ready to order another 6mm die and wanted opinions on this one?

A top bullet maker told me to hold J-4 or any untreated jackets at 460* to 470* for two hours in an argon purge oven or keep door closed while cooling. Bring them back shiny by pouring into boiling...

He is drawing back to a softer state but below anneal soft temperature. No sizing involved other than to swage the boat tail.

I understand that the Blackmon kit is only for the older Rockchucker press made in USA with the large dia ram.

My question is what temperature is used to draw back new J4 jackets ? In this case drawing back is heat to draw back work hardened jackets but not anneal to dead soft. I can find info where R G...

Would like advice on lube on jackets with cores seated? I can find plenty of info on lube to carbide dies but I think the tiny amount I see used would stick a bullet in my steel point form die. Have...

I wonder if this tray will work with .241 dia jackets? That is pre core swage size for a 6mm. Also what length will work as I use up to 1.150 oal?

Good question as my trial run had to have the pot skimmed several times which I had to flux back into the pot after I did a test run. Will have to dig out my PID I guess. Pure lead sure did make ugly...

Getting a pot of lead ready to cast up some bullet cores. Is there any good reason to add tin or antimony to the lead and how much do you use?

Do not know how much force it took on my RCBS rock chucker but I was using a 42" cheater pipe and much of my 250#. Who would have thought the little buggers would be that tough. They were well lubed...
