I have the 8mm Kar and the 8mm Max. Here is what mine cast up with straight wheel weights.
Kar wt=235gr and is .323dia
Max wt=251gr and is .325dia
Haven't shot any yet.

I have the Lee 10 pounder, 4" clearance bottom pour and it is a very good value. I too just make smaller ingots.

Thanks Guys, I tried one (8mm) in a lathe by just drilling with a smaller bit and then boring to .325 but the boring didn't leave it smooth enough and it wouldn't seat a gas check. It just sheared...

I'm trying to make some Lee type sizer dies and was wondering it you'all taper the hole or just bore it straight?
