Win. '92 - Marlin '94- Rossi '92 would be my choices...... I love the Win. 94's but I have seen several pistol calibre Trappers here with broken carrier/lifter, and unable to get replacements

Ok that sounds pretty straight forward. I though I might have to apply extreme pressure to get the pin hole re-aligned (or something tricky like that) Perhaps I'll try "cleaning up" the extractor...

Has anybody here removed/ replaced the extractor on a Rossi 92 357 mag.?
I am having an issue with one of mine, about 1 out of every 30 cases fall back inside the action instead of ejecting cleanly....

I have 3 of the early ('K' prefix S/No.) Rossi 357's and none of them have these holes

I got me one of LEEs .311" Round Ball Molds and cast a cup full of '00-SG' out of stick-on ww...
9 of them stack nicely 3x3 into Win AA 32g wads and they crimp and shoot just fine for me

Interesting Thread, I am using the same LEE 240g GC-LSWC with Nobels No.1 Revolver (similar to 296, h110 etc).... even at 20.0gns they are sharp in my Redhawk. so much so that the hammer link hook...

I use the LEE 150g fn & 170g fn with 9.5g & 8.5g UNIQUE respectively with great results in scope-less Lever Comps (iron & aperture sights only) from 25-100 yards.
Most times I can manage to get 3"...

I'd bet that the gun you're considering has a 'K' prefix serial no. (K******)
In my experience they are the 'duck's guts' when it comes to feeding.
All the ones I have seen have been excellent...
