My guns don't know if the bullet matte finish or gloss. With a matte finish after sizing the drive bands look like a gloss finish.

I've used eastwoods clear and it is easy to see if your boolits are coated when applying the powder. After coating and baking they look like they have a lacquer finish.

I use COWW + a touch of tin if needed air cooled after PCing which gives me a BHN range of 12 to 14.

I leave an inch or so then turn the pot off. Makes it easy to change alloys if needed at the next casting session.

The "paper clip" should be adjusted to hold the case in the shell plate with little tension, also the die might need to be adjusted. IMO

If you follow the directions for the PC cook times and quench after pc'ing your bhn will increase.

It was a 356-115 grn. plated bullet, it now weighs 111.5 grn. looks like normal thin wash plating, at first I thought it had been crimped but it shows no sign of a crimp.
