The idea that I can load an 1800s era (yes, replica) with 1800s style BP with a 500 gr PP bullet and lob it hundreds of yards down range and be repeatable and accurate is amazing! It's a lot to deal...

With the step on the bullet, are you keeping the paper tight around the bullet with your fingers or just worrying about keeping it tight around the base and letting it "shrink" down toward the ogive?

I find that when I use the case mouth to cut the cookie, sometimes it doesn't want to come up off the surface and into the case.
Will a colder lube help with that?

Has anyone else had issues with the extractor on their Uberti 1885?
Sometimes it pops the empty right out, sometimes it acts like it's not connected and stays stuck in.
