I have two Blackhawks in 41 mag. Love them. A New Model 4 5/8" and an Old model 6.5". Been keeping an eye open for an early model S&W 57 at a decent price.

After reading all of your posts. I think I will just stick with the blackhawks that I have (2X 41 mag, 30 Carbine) and keep them separate from my Bobcat Contender. I did forget about the set back but...

Is there a specific time of year that the major manufactures run these calibers? Primarily keeping an eye out for new brass.

I already have the dies for the Bobcat so the b&d doesn't appeal to me now. I did look up the difference a while back but cannot remember the exact differences between the two

Tatume - Appreciate the info but I am really looking for the 357/44 Bobcat chambering. Already have a bunch of loaded rounds and dies to continue loading for it.

Will you take your 35 over the 444 hunting? just curious. I keep going back and forth on it?

I haven't started loading for the 35 as of yet. I lucked out and found some ammo so I am going to concentrate on the 444 then move to the 35 after I have a few loads that I like made up.

Yes, I used to go to one of those two lakes almost every weekend growing up. Only lived about 10 minutes from there.

All my books have data for jacketed. Just not cast
