I have one set up for Varget, one for H4895, and one for IMR4064. They were all lapped with car polish. The Hodgdon powders drop within .1 grain every time. The 4064 is almost as good but not quite....

I have a 1979 Ruger New Model Blackhawk in 45 Colt. Are these considered the 'large frame' Blackhawks?

You need both! I have been through many Blackhawks, Super Blackhawks and one Super Redhawk. All fantastic guns. Didn't dislike any of them and never had a problem with one.

Got a new (old) mold that I'm anxious to try on my BLK. Its an Ideal (Lyman) 311414 hollow point. Drops 311 bullets at around 150 and uses a gas check.
