Fort Bragg 1967 basic I was the recruit chosen to fire the M 14 against my crotch. Hold it tight, no big deal. We never did full auto with the 14, even in VN. I found a selector switch for mine,...

If by some chance it does turn out to be 6.5 x 54, I just bought a set of RCBS dies for that, hoping I could form shootable cases for my 6.5 x 53R Dutch. Didn't work, let me know if you need them.
Many, many years ago I got a deal on Herters 6.5x55, made in Finland. Had this problem, got a new decapping stem with the small pin. Still works fine, in both size flashholes.

I sent you an email a couple days ago, no reply yet. I have a lot, maybe 100 + lbs, of 308, all carefully sorted and labeled by the OCD guy I got it from. Most is once fired. Drop me a note, we...

As a very long time 303 British shooter, I will tell you that the post above on big chambers on battle rifles is spot on. The Brits had long experience fighting in some of the worst places on earth,...

Good friend showed me a box of 28 ga. from his youth, long ago as he is 85. Western Cartridge Co, no mention of Olin, Winchester, or non-corrosive priming. Full box, slip top, nearly mint...

I still have the tag end of the keg of Unique purchased in 1967, just before I was told it would be nice to spend some time in VN. Only difference in the newer lots is they have made it cleaner...

Do I recall correctly that this short-lived powder was actually Reloader 22? Found 1 lb at a local shop, and RL22 is my long time favorite for the 6.5x55.

Midway just took on a line of odd brass, and I got a bag of 20 in the mail today in 43 Spanish. Looks like good stuff. One point not mentioned above is that most, if not all, of the original cases...

For years my favorite load in 45 C was 11.0 gr of AL-7, under a 250 gr cast bullet. Finally found a stash of it, 5 or 6 lbs maybe, and now old age and arthritis make shooting big revolvers not much...

Has anyone tried it in either 9.3x62, or 9.3x74R? IT looks like the burning rate should be somewhere in the ballpark. I have had best results so far with Varget and RL15 in those two, but always...

WST has been my favorite for 45 cast loads for several years; it also works well in 40 and 9mm. WSF is better for jacket bullet loads, seems to burn just a tad slower.

Horse trades work out strangely sometimes. That's how I got my Glock 32 last summer, on a trade that i just could not pass up. Still not a Glock fan, and I don't like the grip, but I shoot it well....
