Yes, that is correct. I actually prefer those over the hex style. I only use 2 types of lock rings, Lee spanner style and Hornady.

I have about 10. I would trade even for the same amount of spanner rings.

You might want to check out Boyd's gunstocks. I bought a buttstock for my 20ga Model 12 and it fit perfectly. I didn't like their finish so I refinished myself
