i would assume that cardboard would work just fine in layers, just be sure of your back stop....it might go farther than the cardboard.

that gun with the skinner sight will do anything you ask it to, you dont shoot it anyway so hang on to it...ya just never know

wyoming calls theirs pioneer as well, age is 65 and 30 year resident, fishing and small game, sure works for me...and no conservation stamps needed.

i bought a K31 about 13 years ago now and also bought the lee die set. the lee die set would not make ammunition i could chamber, i got mad after several trys and sold the set. i ordered the redding...

i too have done the same thing as 15 meter has done. these were made for and shot in my K31, i see no differance between the accuracy of the 284 brass and NNY (privi) and i am sure i have fired them...

mine would be a remington model 700 BDL in 30/06,i bought it in 1973. since then i have shot moose, bears,elk,mule deer,antelope,39 plus whitetails (public land) in 41 years. many were shot with cast...

i shot a buck three years ago with a 10in contender 44 mag bbl. i was useing 44 special brass and a 245gr swc with 8 grains of unique,a measured 82 yards from me to it. took the top of the heart off...

thanks, i have used a great deal of accurate 5744 because 4759 has disapeared around here.many folks are talking up the reloader 7 so i will look for it(with little hope of finding it anytime...

BT had me test some that he made, they shot real well, and i have taken two deer with them out of my K31...several years have gone by since and im not sure if he would still do any.
