If you have a old hacksaw blade, bevel the back side of it, aprox 45degree, with a grinder. Blade is flexable and easy to use, gently scrape the old finish off. use paint remover for the checkering....

Look in moulds, maintenance and design. Check the first sticky about Lee menting a lee mould. If it will work for a AL mould why wouldn't it work for a Lyman
