I agree with you about the CCI .22s with 12 shot; I've had good results with them too. Even more so with the 12s in .22 Mag.
But on this one I was using the Federal crimped-case .22s, which are not...

I killed a good sized copperhead a few days ago with .22LR ratshot (the crimped stuff; not even the good stuff) in my NAA mini.
I prefer to have .38 snake shot in my .357 LCR, for a bit more killing...
Forum: Boolit Lube !
No need to lube the ball; just the patch.
And, Alox is a bad idea for a muzzleloader. Unless you like cleaning black tar out of the barrel.

Just received a couple lbs of N310 from Natchez. It's cheaper and easier to find than Bullseye now, and those two lbs are good for 8,000 rounds of .32 S&W Long.

I'm glad you have a thick skin. I've had my say about farm/house guns, so since it's your thread and you are apparently finished with the original topic, I'll move on because I have no interest in...

Now how about everyone else hijack the thread to talk about their chosen profession that has nothing to do with the subject matter at hand, and suggest that everyone should try their profession for a...
I like mine, too. This is one of the batch J&G sold without barrels for $150.

I bought ten pounds of MP-249 which is supposed to be like IMR Blue. Price, $180 with free shipping and free hazmat.
Sorry, but NOE did something similar to me a couple years ago and never made it right, nor returned any of my attempts at communication.

I haven't tried MP-254, but I do have some MP-248 and also have some MP-249 on the way. Both say similar to IMR Blue. The 248 is listed as 915 fps for a 230 grain TMJ over 8 grains in a 5" 1911 .45....

I was just looking for information comparing Blue Dot, IMR Blue and Ramshot True Blue when I came across a site pretending to be Hodgdon and claiming to have IMR Blue for sale for $234/8 lb. The site...

.45/70, then the .32/40. That Winchester is a great cast bullet rifle; way better than a .30-30, especially a Micro-Groove one.
If I were going to hunt with an autoloader it would be a .45 Super. I have a G21 that I converted to .45 Super and I would either use that or build a 1911. .45 Super is capable of more power than a...

.36 cap and ball revolver were ~.36" land to land, but more like .375" - .380" groove diameter. You can get .38 Special conversion cylinders for modern repros but they don't shoot very well because a...

"410 Gauge" would be about .25 caliber. I've also seen it expressed as ".410 Gauge" which would have about a 2.54 inch bore. :bigsmyl2:
Same here. I wish someone would bring them in again.
Navy Arms used to sell a baby rolling block in .357 Mag. I wonder if this is the same action. If so, .327 Fed wouldn't be a problem.
I suspect the Navy Arms action would be easier to find anyway....
I haven't, but that sounds like a great idea! Maybe even a primer-only load.
Forum: Shot Guns
I agree, they are great guns. I have had a few including a .30-30 over 20 gauge and a .357 Mag over 20 gauge. Wish I still had that one. I currently have a .22 Mag over 20 gauge and a .30-30 over 12...

Just to reiterate what others have said, RCBS will honor the warranty regardless of where or when you bought it. Even if you gave $2 for it at a yard sale 20 years ago. I have a Little Dandy powder...
Are you interested in selling or trading the Hornet and .44 Mag? I think I have a spare set of .222 and maybe a couple others. Possibly .30-06 as well.
I would suggest getting them all. In fact if you don't need the .22 Hornet and .44 Mag, I would be interested in them.
