I've only been casting a few years... and love it. Mostly handgun stuff.... 9mm, 38/357, 45acp and some 300blk. I have a small private range on the Northside and access to lead... lots of it....

I'm in jax and been casting for a few years. Just looking for anyone else in my area to talk / swap with and learn in person.

No where near enough... I have about 300lbs pure lead, 350lbs COWW in ingots, 150lbs 50/50 mix in ingots, 150lbs of Mono Type, about 25lbs of Hard #2 and about 5 lbs of Tin. Plus a 55gal drum...

Right now I have a bucket of pure, a bucket of COWW, a bucket of 50/50, a bucket of 1/3 ww 2/3 pure, and a bucket of mono type.

But... I also have about 2000 .452 cast from mystery mix... COWW +...

How hard are you wanting the final product? The calculator says 20lbs of mono type added to 100lbs of range scrap will give you ~12.8 Brinell and 25lbs will give you 13.4

way way easier to mix.

Ok, here are the final numbers!

Paid $60 for 2 full 5gal buckets.

Total weight - 322lbs ....

After sorting and smelting all of it...

109 lbs COWW - 34%

It's funny... I found a set of used break pads, a saw blade and a bunch of trash/dirt.
