Trying hard to see where the OP asked what was a good competition rifle. BPCR as I understand it means Black Powder Cartridge Rifle. Unless that C is competition. Assuming that every one will or...

OK I remember a thread from years ago where a member (NoBade?) Had if I recall a .303 that he called the sewer pipe. The thread details his adventures on making it shoot and I beleive he said that...

I have seen in print somewhere that at least some of the mil surp 7x57 were 1 in 8.5 ...and that seems to check with the uraquay carbine I have.

Considering as an option to build ( I have a 1:8 blank and the group buy 247 grain boolit) and I was thinking in a long barrel (21-24" ish) it might be mouse fart quiet fun for small game and usable...
Never heard of anyone think the AI was much of an improvement for cast. But I have never tried it.
Forum: CB Loads / Military Rifles
I am encountering the Same issues, sooty case and needed pretty stiff loads to seal also necks are WAY expanded, I think if I were to keep this barrel i would have to get a bushing neck sizer die...
So I have a 7mm rolling block that needs a barrel a 1:8 twist .308 pac-nor blank and I need to decide on a chamber. Was hoping to have a cast boolit gun that would mostly be downloaded for woods...
