I'm curious - since I lucked into one of the Miroku High Walls recently - what's the actual bore on the pedersoli? I have a friend who has slugged some modern 38-55s and gotten 375. I slugged my...

I feel like a 2.5 inch sp101 is very much a snubby. I won't argue about the 3 inch on my belt being a bit bigger, but I can put it in a overall or coat pocket just the same as a charter bulldog in .44

yep! RD is less than half the price, more accurate. TB is a bit more volume (which might actually be the reason it's so hard to get accurate)

I tried trail boss for a bit. It's not bad, but red dot is generally available, way cheaper, and still fluffy enough that it's hard to double charge a typical straight wall pistol case.

okay, and? I feel like I've read this three times before. I am aware that the problems of using a variable measure, variable seating depth, and variable ignition are problematic problems. Yep!...

yes, I've seen the video.
I would probably be using red dot or bullseye, anyway. is there a problem with fast powders?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say the o ring is probably not a great idea. there may be a material that would work, but here we are trying to rapidly move a slug, engage rifling (with...

myself as well. I'm more concerned with proper size than a single large lube groove.

I'm building new sheds from profits. why not? go get your car- car loans are stupid anyway!
as for why people feel they NEED this stuff? A lot of people have had some very interesting and hard...

I would expect these to be selling for right at $379-$399 if we weren't in a panic - which is causing ALL rifles to sell for higher prices. I've owned an NEF and it was okay, not a No1, but it was a...

of course they are! Anyone with the ability to put their wares on the open market and has the small business flexibility to do so SHOULD be doing so!
Yeah, the panic sucks and all, but people are...

yep! I thought about how the reduction in weight with cutting the lead would result in a boolit more suited to a slow twist. also, SHOULD be lower pressures.
the main issue being the lifter in a...

ah, but the Command Economy doesn't really permit that. if I could make $100 for 2 hours work anytime I wanted I'd retire right quick.

I was thinking of a collet jig to make it as consistent and easy as possible, possibly a top swage if needed to give an ogive.
given the usual state of a model 1890 barrel, I'll debate accuracy...

i'm not blowing the money to try it, but I suspect 22 remington auto (model 16) would actually chamber in the 1903, but not vice versa.
I've got a bit of a stock of the 22 win auto and a 1903, I...

Right now, 22 long is selling for over $200 per 400 on gunbroker. Now, we all know that's just silly. But some of us winchester shooters "need" 22 long and google is mighty unhelpful on this idea, so...

I don't think it's going to go down to previous prices. I really think the 3 year price ..... it's gong to be 10% to 20% up on .22 - one thing I do expect the left to pull off is restrictive industry...

I think the analogy is good, but limited.

I can VERY occasionally find walmart having .22LR or .22WMR at standard retail prices (5 to 9 cents per round) - up until mid january that was a couple hundred rounds a week. since mid january it has...

you are costing me money.
I have 89, 94, and 15 models of the favorite and I agree with you. Honestly, I'd be as happy if the older ones were chambered in .22short. the 1915 I feel is a much...

if you ever make centerfire breech blocks, let me know. I've done a no6 conversion and shoot .32 short colt in it for fun. I think the stevens could hold up to .32SWL, which is way easier to get, if...

yeah, i've seen the video. aside from a rather ... informal powder measure.......problem is he has no control over case capacity, really. That's the major issue and why I would love one or three of...
