Well, I got my two 1911 barrels back from Doug about a week or so ago. So far so good. I put fifty rounds through each one of them with the Lee 230g TC on top of 5.5g of HP-38. OAL=1.210"

I believe it's probably an 18lb just comparing how thick & stiff it looks versus a known 16lb. A little harder to hand cycle the slide also.

Well, I went out & shot a known standard pressure round in the suspect chamber. I couldn't eject the case with the extractor rod. What now? Send it to Ruger for a new cylinder?
