In 1977 I was living in Missouri and bought a Texan single stage press kit that came with a powder scale, and a 30.06 die set. I bought a Hornady reloading manual and the rest is history.

I also used 56gr of IMR4350 with Hornady 165gr pointed soft points in my sporterized 1903 Springfield in the 1970s & 80s the load was very accurate. Great memories.

Pietro I have had three of these 2 45s and one 50 and they all were good shooters with Roundball they have 1/66 twist. And they are a Nice length for off hand shooting.
