I +1 on recleaning the mold.
Every time I get the mold out that I want,
I spray it down with carb cleaner.
Never had a problem with oil in a mold when I

4570, I followed the advice of other members
and screw in a screw to the base of the boolit.
then added lapping compound to it.
Put it in a drill press and lapped it out.

I took a 9mm boolit and changed it to a
38 / 357 boolit.
It was a Lyman #356402 - 120 gr. double cav mold.
Now it is lapped to a 358 dia. and a 125 gr. mold.
