I had one like this but am thinking it may have closed hard even with an empty chamber. Found a YouTube on the outer diameter of the bolt-face fix. I did his 2-min fix and it closes much easier now.

My main actually only issue with NOE is that on one instance, the .316” plug was catching the mouth lip on the 7.62x54R brass folding it over. I had to go slow on those to ensure the brass was...

I use NOE expanders… Tonight I was seating some light load 38 Special using mixed brass and old Herters WCs that are like half jacketed (a first for me). Oddly the bullets set into the expanded step...

Same here, I got rid of my 14” 7-30 waters after getting and shooting the 6.5 Bullberry.
I have brass made for Kindler’s 25 classic but never got around the building the barrel yet.

Someday I’d like to check loaded ammo with and then without using the NOE expander to see if there would be any difference in concentricity
For me personally, the smaller the bullets the more I prefer to use the APP.
Having severe arthritis and many times getting cramps from the repetition of picking up and placing bullets, I prefer...
Thanks to both of you and sorry I didn’t make it clear. Lee did give me the proper nomenclature which in turn to do a better search where I did find (and order) what I needed from Titan (that’s where...

I think they are the same. I have the Lee bullet sizing kit and NOE size bushings setup in my APP. Have to look when I get home but pretty darn sure I could use my Lnl bushings instead of my beach...

Or maybe a possibility, one mold with several sizer bushing?

I also have probably 30 lbs of zinc WWs that I’m getting ready to take to the scrap yard.

Similar situation here, only I was looking for one mold for the 7.62x54r, -06, and 30 Herrett. The 54r has a really larger diameter land groove and I don’t mind sizing down to the 30 calibers.
I...

Similar experience only with NOE 225 gr BO bullets… IMHO with limited experience, my NOE was the hardest to learn how to use. Actually a 25 caliber Lyman was easiest (although I didn’t care for the...

Thank you. This is my son-in-law’s rifle that I am playing with. He had no brass it was all steel cases and I’m not very familiar with them. but as it turns out the fired cases are all measuring...

Thanks, some of it is beginning to make sense.
I have done a few chamber cast and still have enough Cerrosafe to make one more (maybe not the entire chamber but the important part I need right...

I am loading .317 boolits for an old 7.62x54R that has a huge .316 groove and recently came across the following info which if I’m reading out correctly, has me concerned about using these boolits...

I have used a Hornady APP sincebut 2004. It’s been a beast, I’ve loaded everything from a little short 17 squirrels on it all the way up to 45 caliber including my 7 mm STW. I have three case forming...

Embarrassed admit but I had the spring on wrong and it was slide around the backside on the top hook

Thank you and that’s good to hear. Figured I might be the only one with this issue. Many pieces of brass deprimed and many bullets sized on it! This thing has paid for itself several times over. What...

I’d be interested in hearing the groove size if you ever slug it
Forum: Reloading Equipment
A short time ago, I swapped out my depriming setup to sized bullets. During this time I was sizing different diameter bullets 25-45 cal and someplace along the line the bullet solder wasn’t running...

I am a newbie so take this with a grain of salt…
If you have not done so already, then be sure to slug your bore to get a groove diameter. The 7.63x54R I recently began working with has a larger...
